The appellation of Pernand Vergelesses is not the best known in the Cote D’Or and, as such, it offers superior value for money than its better known neighbours. Intense, mineral, citrus, honeysuckle and toast on the nose with a crisp yet creamy palate of complex waxy fruit.

Corton Charlemagne Grand Cru Blanc, Domaine
One of the very finest whites of Burgundy, Corton Charlemagne is famed for it weight, complexity and intensity. Expect concentrated, rich nutty tones with hints of minerally lime and lemon. On the palate there is a weight of fruit and complexity coupled with subtle honeysuckle, lime, toast and hazelnut. Extraordinary stuff.

Beaune 1er Cru ‘Montrevenots’ Rouge, Domaine Dubreuil Fontaine
30 year old vines provide well balanced, concentrated grapes with which to make this elegant, supple Pinot. Aromas of raspberries, wild strawberry and violet mix with subtly spiced woody notes, leading to a long, multi layered finish.

Under the direction of Christine Gruere-Dubreuil, this Domaine is producing first rate Burgundies with pronounced balance and varietal intensity. This wine shows intense, bright ruby colour coupled with complex aromas of savoury cherry and violet. The palate is rounded, creamy and supple.

Corton Bressandes Grand Cru Rouge, Domaine Dubreuil Fontaine
Few wines match Corton Bressandes for complexity, subtlety and elegance and this example displays beautifully silky, violet and strawberry fruit overlaid with aromatic, spicy wood. The palate is supple, well rounded and juicy with creamy wild berry, mineral and mocha notes on the long finish.
