The stunning new range from Bodegas Amaren pays homage to Ángeles, the mother of Juan Luís Cañas, the owner-manager of Bodegas Luís Cañas. A tireless worker, she dedicated her life to the vineyard and winery with a fierce passion and drive to produce only the highest quality wines.

In 2009 Juan turned his dream to reality with a warehouse dedicated to wines that represents the pioneering ambition of his mother.

The vineyards have 22 hectares of vines more than 60 years old and another 30 between 30 and 60 years old. The picking and processing is to the same high standard as the wines of Luis Cañas.

The Amaren range represents the best of the winery’s wines and the drive for perfection in all fields – the cultivation of the vineyard, the hand selection of the grapes, the thoughtful wine-making and careful ageing to produce honest wines of outstanding quality.

		Blanco Crafted from over 50 year old vines, Bodegas Amaren Blanco is a beautifully aromatic white wine from Rioja. Honeyed fruit, pineapple and subtle citrus notes combine with a gentle spice to give a rounded and smooth finish.
		Tempranillo Graciano, Angeles de Amaren Bigarreau cherries and dark red fruits on a background of oak spice delivers a stunning moreish fiinish with fine silky tannins
		Graciano Ample, sweet and fruity aromas combine with laurel, blackberry with touches of wood spice, clove and a hint of menthol. A beautifully structured and enduring finish.
