Ros joined Alliance in 2002 with a background in Italian and Art History, travelling widely, skiing, snowboarding and drinking plenty of wine! Though a relatively raw recruit to the wine trade at the time, her ability to speak Italian was immediately valued when it came to negotiations with intransigent Italian suppliers. |
Now an invaluable part of the purchasing and marketing team, Ros has played an important role in the huge developments that have taken place in our Australian and Spanish portfolios. Working directly with a large number of producers, she is responsible for the buying from Italy, Spain, Austria, Australia, New Zealand and Portugal. Ros has also been instrumental in the set up of our Adelaide based company, Alliance Wine Australia.
Ros has recently passed her WSET Diploma with Merit.
When asked what she did outside of work, Ros was a little non-plussed though we suspect that she still finds a little time for the aforementioned pursuits! .
