Ros joined Alliance in 2002 with a background in Italian and Art History, travelling widely, skiing, snowboarding and drinking plenty of wine! Though a relatively raw recruit to the wine trade at the time, her ability to speak Italian was immediately valued when it came to negotiations with intransigent Italian suppliers. |
Now an invaluable part of the purchasing and marketing team, Ros has played an important role in the huge developments that have taken place in our Australian and Spanish portfolios and is also studying for the WSET Diploma. Working directly with a large number of producers, she is responsible for their logistics and marketing requirements encompassing the wide variety of shows and tastings that we take part in each year.
In addition to purchasing responsibility, Ros also collates and maintains all aspects of the website as well as continually looking to improve the resource for our clients.
When asked what she did outside of work, Ros was a little non-plussed though we suspect that she still finds a little time for the aforementioned pursuits! .
