Having graduated in Modern Languages from Glasgow University, Liz went on to work for the widely acclaimed Ubiquitous Chip restaurant as assistant General Manager. An extensive wine and whisky selection enabled Liz to do enough "practical" study to pass the Higher certificate whilst there.
|
Started work for Alliance in 1996, combining her wine knowledge and language skills to good effect in the purchasing and marketing department, where she was promoted to overall manager.
Responsible for the buying from France, Chile, Argentina and South Africa as well as overseeing the running of the Purchasing and Marketing department, Liz's role is crucial to the efficient running of the company.
Liz passed her WSET Diploma with MERIT; Liz also enjoys reading, travel, films, music. |
