Alexis joined the
Alliance team in April 2005
. Having travelled the world, doing many wine
related jobs we are delighted to welcome her as
Area Sales Manger for London. After doing a degree
in English Literature Alexis spent several years
in New Zealand working her way up through the hospitality
trade. |
In 1997 she got her first job as an On Trade account
manager with a New Zealand wine importer and distributor,
from there she moved to Villa Maria. In 2001 Alexis
did a vintage at Esk Valley Estate where she passed
her fork lift licence and spent 2 months wearing overalls
and attempting to make wine without causing any damage...
She returned to London in 2001 where she went back to
restaurants, Managing West St and then to Gordon Ramsay
@ Claridges as part of the Sommelier team. In 2002 Alexis
went on to do MBA in Wine Business management at the
Royal College of Agriculture where she won a prize for
top student that year. After working briefly for Anthony
Byrne Fine Wines she went to Moreno Wines for 14 months
developing the London On Trade.
Alexis
currently lives in London with her French boyfriend
Julien - a pastry chef and Zoe her Springer Spaniel.
