Terra D'Acica - Romania

Although Romania has as much vineyard area as Portugal and a long tradition of viticulture, its potential has been largely unrecognised in the UK.

Naturally blessed with a great climate and suitable soils, greater investment in the vineyards and wineries and a more modern outlook is bound to change this and ultimately lead to international success.

Cramele Recas is a substantial Romanian/ British owned producer in the Banat Hills in the west of Romania. Since its establishment in 1998 Cramele Recas has focused on quality and is enjoying lightning fast evolution as well as winning numerous awards at home and abroad.

Bypassing for the moment delights such as Fuzz Ali and Crimposie we are dipping our toe in the water and importing two wines, a Pinot Grigio and a Pinot Noir. Sold under the Terra D’Acica label they are extremely good value and ideal as house wines.
