Orivetto Classico Podere Vaglie

Set in the hills above Lago di Corbara in the Classico district of Orvieto, lies the small, 15 hectare estate, Podere Vaglie. Growing a range of local, traditional grape varieties and as well as a smattering of more international varieties, the estate concentrates on producing balanced, characterful wines that reflect their location in the hills of central Italy.

New to our list is the Orvieto Classico. Made from a blend of six grape varieties, some are more familiar than others - Trebbiano, Procanico, Malvasia, Grechetto, Verdello and Druppeggio. The wine has great colour and a persistent, fruity and floral nose.

A classic brought bang up to date by attentive viticulture and excellent winemaking.
