Majella Tribute

2005 started out in tragic fashion for Brian and Ros Lynn at Majella Wines in Coonawarra. Their much beloved son, Matthew, was killed as a result of a hit and run accident. All those who met Brian on his travels last Autumn will, I'm sure, send their condolences.

2005 was going to see the first new release from Majella for some years and so it seemed appropriate that the new wine should be named in Matthew's honour. The wine has been named The Musician after Matthew's passion. A Cabernet Shiraz blend, it shares the same wonderful fruit quality as it's grown up siblings but goes into second fill barrels to make it a little more economic.

We're yet to see a sample but are certain that it is sure to be a winner - Majella quality at virtually half the price has got to be a good idea. We'll have samples at London Wine Trade Fair so why not be tne of the first to try the wine and sample one of what is sure to be one of Australia's great bargain uys.
