Tiddy Widdy Well Well

Well......Every now and then, a quiet drink with a producer brings about an inspirational idea for a new wine name. However, sometimes, inspiration takes a little longer.sometimes more than one bee ris needed!

A recent trip to Australia turned up some incredible deals due to a little overstocking in the Aussie bulk markets and so Brett and Giles decided to settle down to some brainstorming.

Once Brett's brain had been located, thoughts turned to what to call this new wine and so Brett began wistfully regaling stories of his sea faring adventures and the beaches from where he launched his boat.

Turns out that one of those beaches is called Tiddy Widdy Beach and on that beach is a well.

Well, what seemed like a daft idea at first somehow gained momentum and now we're about to launch the wine! Packaging looks smart (complete with blue swimmer crab that dwells on the beach) and more importantly, the wine over delivers in every way. The white benefits from Adelaide Hills fruit to give a bright, fresh,

herbaceous style whilst the McLaren Vale fruit in the red gives a lush, ripe, voluptuous touch that is sure to please all Aussie wine fans. The wines should be with us mid to late summer.

Colombard / Sauvignon Blanc / Riesling 2004
