St Joseph Rings Out at Belle

Albert Belle is noted in the old “Wines of the Rhone” by John Livingstone-Learmonth as az “name to note…on the move…a refugee from the cooperative.” We think the wines are now superb and are amongst the foremost of the appellation. We are doubly pleased therefore to be adding a new wine from the domaine to our portfolio, a St Joseph from 2001 vintage.

We will have a very small volume available from the beginning of February 2004. Typically full and powerful with spice and weight this is a little less structured and softer than the Crozes and certainly than the Hermitage so it is ideal for drinking young.
