Race to Grow

There is no doubting that Denis Race makes fabulous, balanced Chablis that is also excellent value. He is listed as one on the leading domaine's in Chablis by Andrew Jefford in “The New France” and is well known for his anti-oak stance. With 14 hectares of vineyards, it is quite a sizeable domaine but demand is such that we sometimes struggle to keep up.

This year we have added two new Premier Cru to the list of wines that we offer, Vaillons and Montmains. As you would expect from a producer whose work in the vineyards is as careful as his work in the winery the wines are strongly individual and reflect the style of each climate. All in all this is a delicious and highly successful range of wines.
