SHERWOOD STEPS UP - TWICE

Keen eyes will have noticed that Sherwood Estate Dry Reserve Riesling won a gold medal in this year’s International Wine Challenge (see overleaf for further results). Described as “a great example of absolute purity...” this is one result we couldn’t agree with more.

Not only has Sherwood gained some much deserved recognition but the wines and presentation are also stepping up a gear and undergoing a major overhaul. From the 2003 vintage you will see fantastic new labelling introducing a family look across the range, higher quality wines, and renaming of the Reserve range as Clearwater Vineyards.

Dayne and Jill Sherwood have been producing wine since 1987. Now with their winery in the exciting, developing Waipara region, south of Marlborough, and new vineyards coming on stream, the quality has never been better.
