San Marco

Inexpensive doesn’t mean cheap!

From the deep South of Italy and beyond, San Marco is a remarkable new range offering sophisticated packaging, a crisp citrussy white and a soft, rich, characterful red.

The red is sourced from the Puglia region and is a blend of negroamaro and malvasia nero. It offers the supple easy drinking, richly fruited style that has made Puglia one of the “hot” regions of Italy. There are few areas of the world that can offer this quality coupled with a real “sense of place” and a truly remarkable price. The white is sourced from Sicily, one of the most innovative areas of the “New Old World”. Made from Cataratto, it offers simple, refreshing citrus laced fruit in a style ideally suited to light foods and summer quaffing.

These two wines are sure to be a massive hit and a welcome addition to our range of “price fighting” wines.
