NEW FACES - MIRIAM SPIERS

We are delighted to announce that Miriam Spiers has joined Alliance from Mathew Clark where she had achieved a great deal in the Edinburgh area. Originally Slovakian, Miriam came to Britain to work in forestry genetics but soon found that one of the few ways to come to terms with the Scottish climate was to work in the drinks industry.

With a proven track record, excellent product knowledge and tasting ability, Miriam will be a great asset the company.

Her role as Area Sales Manager will be to develop sales in the Edinburgh, Central Scotland and Borders regions, whilst helping out with existing accounts set up by Giles Cooke M.W. Pressure of work has meant that some of Giles's customers might not have seen as much of him as they would like but this new move will enable us to increase service levels and develop in new areas.

We wish Miriam well in her new post and are confident that she will make a big impact!
