BODEGAS GUTIERREZ COLOSIA, PUERTO DE SANTA MARIA, JEREZ

Until now, Sherry has been something on the list of things that "we ought to sort out" but never got round to doing it. Well, at long last, Alliance now has a range of Sherries from a small but great producer based in Puerto de Santa Maria. Gutierrez Colosia have been based on the shores of the Guadalete River, next to the Atlantic Ocean since 1838.

In the tall, cathedral like, warehouses that are home to the Solera, Colosia fashion classic examples of traditional dry sherries with more than a hint of the briny, sea air that filters through the buildings. These are superb examples of the type and offer good value for money and a certain individuality. Initially we will offer;

  • Manzanilla
  • Fino
  • Cream
  • Amontillado
  • Oloroso

Please note that these are traditional sherries and therefore, only the cream is anything other than bone dry!
