Alliance
Wine will be showing extended ranges from McGregor Winery,
Robertson , the hugely successful Marimba and Bushman's Creek
brands and introducing one of South Africa's rising stars,
Havana Hills.
Situated
high up on the Olifantskop, overlooking Table Bay, Havana
Hills has been described as "one of the most spectacular
wine farms in the Cape" by John Platter. Founded in 1998
by Kobus de Plessis with winemaking expertise from Nico Vermeulen
and the renowned Bordeaux winemaker Alain Mouiex, Havana Hills
has quickly forged an enviable reputation.
The Du
Plessis Reserve Cabernet Merlot garnered a Platter 5 star
rating with the rest of the range collecting numerous 4 and
4.5 star ratings as well as double golds at the Veritas awards.
Havana
Hills wines are set to retail at the £6.99 - £7.99
mark and the Du Plessis reserve wines will offer stunning
value at £10.99.
